Well, the first day of School for 2009-2010 came and went! Morgan is in the 1st grade this year and Cody had his first day of Preschool. Cody will go 3 full days a week! It sure is quiet at home without those two! We miss them, but know they're having a fun time. Here is the pictures of the first day of school. The 1st picture is the Cody that we know! He changed back into his "jammies" the second he got home and then went out to play!! (until my computer will work with rotating pics, you'll just have to turn your head to view some of them , sorry! :()

Brenna's crawling

Well, Brenna just turned 7 months old and she's officially all of a sudden doing the army crawl and also getting up on her knees every now and then. . .I'll have to post pics soon! We left today for KS to visit my parents and we're looking forward to a great time! It was a lengthy trip with 3 kiddos and my lonesome, but the kids traveled great, thank goodness! We had a little stop in KC to play at the children's museum which they really enjoyed. It gave Brenna a chance to move around too. We're looking forward to spending time with everyone and I'm sure it will go way too fast.

Brenna has her first two new teeth!

Tim brought the kids home from daycare today and said he thought he saw teeth in Brenna's mouth. Sure enough!! There they were! I guess she didn't have much for symptoms. . . thank goodness! It sure it cute and I guess it prompts us to think maybe we should be advancing her foods a little more. She barely eats cereal yet. . . . it's just such a pain to add more to the routine! Morgan continues to love school and is really starting to read a lot. Cody continues to wish he could go to school. I don't know how that will work though as long as he has such an addiction to wearing "pajammies" and pretending he's every character in the book. I can just imagine his teacher greeting him and then he'll reply, "well ACTUALLY, my name is Alvin (or Shrek, or Boots, or Buzz Lightyear, or whetever else he can think up that day!)." Tim continues to stay busy. He's currently updating/remodeling the east end of our big brooder house. It sure is a big improvement and now that it's all cement, the kids have a great new place to ride bike until it gets warmer outside!

A New Nephew!!

Gina & Chris had a baby boy last Friday, Cale Christopher. We went to visit last night and I am posting a picture of Morgan holding Cale. It was a very nice evening spent with their family. I am also posting some pics of the kids. The picture of Cody was a nice day we had about a week ago. He said, "this is such a special day since the sun came out and I don't have to wear a coat!" He decided he needed to put a helmet and knee pads on so he could go "rollerskating" on the ice that was left. He is also still in his "pajammies", which is typical of most days around here! Morgan continues to be a great big sister and a big help. However, we're trying to get through her head that she CAN'T get Brenna out of her crib when she's fussing. . .still not sure how she manages to do that, but it seems awfully dangerous!!! We also went to Morgan's V-day party @ school. She always enjoys it when we come. . .especially her little sister!

Here I am trying this "blog" thing out. . .I posted this picture of Brenna which was taken about a week ago. I decided that since she's growing a mohawk I should maybe put some headbands on her so she definitely looks like a girl. . .this one is quite large, but cute anyway. Tim's wonders if she'll have any brain cells left after I squeeze her head with headbands! Oh the price of vanity. ..JK!! This will be my attempt to keep those of you updated on our family happenings, as many of you don't live close by (a.k.a. Kansas friends and family!). I'll post more pics soon!

My First Post!

Well, here it goes! I hope I can keep up with this . . . gonna give it a try! I'm currently working the night shift and so I thought this would be a great time to get our blog site up and going! I'll hopefully post pics soon!
